Minutes of the Palomar Mountain Planning Organization Meeting

May 28, 2011

Board Members Present:

Heather Beer, Glenn Borland, Robert Carlyle, Steve Clark, Donna Dose, Elizabeth Getzoff, Bruce Graves, Doug Lande, George Lucia, Michael Pique, Alan Serry, Linda Thorne, Michael Walsh.

Board Members Absent:

Mike Chesney, George Evangelou.

The PMPO Board meeting was convened about 1:30 PM May 28, 2011, following the Annual Meeting, at the Palomar Mountain Volunteer Fire Department.

The Treasurer's and Secretary's reports were deferred.

NEW BUSINESS:

Election of Officers

The following were elected for one year terms:

Mike Chesney, Chair;

Michael Walsh, Vice-Chair;

Alan Serry, Treasurer, and

Michael Pique, Secretary.

Agenda items:

State Park closure - Elizabeth Getzoff asks that the PMPO response be placed on agenda for next meeting.

Goldspotted oak borer beetle - Elizabeth Getzoff and Doug Lande would like followup on publicizing this threat be placed on agenda for next meeting.

Sunday September 4, 2011 - in early afternoon after the PMVFD annual general meeting.

March 2012 - possible newsletter planning meeting

Possible April meeting [Easter is April 4, 2012]

Sunday April 29 or Saturday May 5, 2012 - newsletter mailing preparation

Saturday May 26, 2012 - Annual general meeting and pancake breakfast
